Two group sessions, coached by me, out in the open air. One will leave you moving better. The other will leave you breathing hard. Both are open to anyone willing to show up.
Built for anyone, with the emphasis on 60 and up. Guided work to help you move freely, release the tension that builds through the week, and hold onto the range of motion that makes ordinary days easier.
Getting off the floor. Reaching a top shelf. Turning to check your blind spot. That is what we are protecting here.
You will work through hips, spine, shoulders, and ankles at a pace that lets you breathe and ask questions. Nothing here is a competition and nothing here should hurt. If a position does not suit your body, I will give you another one.
Move better, for longer.
High intensity strength and conditioning in the open air. You will work through stations of hill sprints, agility ladders, jump squats, and loaded carries, mixing equipment work with bodyweight.
Expect to be out of breath. Expect to finish something you were not sure you could start.
Every station has a lower impact option. If your knees do not like jumping, you step. If sprinting is off the table, you march the hill. You will not be singled out for taking the scaled version, because half the group usually is.
There are cheaper drop in classes in this city. Here is what the price difference actually buys you, particularly if you are over 60 and have a history worth working around.
A session goes ahead once three people are booked. If fewer than three are booked by 8 PM the night before, the session is cancelled and you will get a text. Nothing is charged, and any pass credit stays on your account.
The discounted partner rate is for pay as you go sessions. It does not stack with a class pass, since the pass is already the reduced rate for committing up front. Both of you need to book and attend together to get it.
These sessions run outdoors from mid March to mid November. If conditions are unsafe, the session is cancelled and you will get a text. Light rain is not a cancellation, so dress for the morning you are walking into.
A pass covers ten sessions of that class and does not expire within the season. It is yours to use at whatever pace suits you.
The meeting point is confirmed when you book, along with what to bring. Turn up a few minutes early for your first one so we can talk before we start.
If you are unsure whether either session is right for you, message me before you book. I would rather point you to the right one than have you turn up to the wrong one.
Book a session, or message me first if you have questions about whether it suits you. Both are fine.
